Brand Positioning

Brands are a means to a commercial end and the correct positioning for a brand is vital to its success.

On top of this, the modern era of brands and branding requires much more fluidity than in the past.

Our BrandSpark approach to brand positioning understands and embraces this. We enable brands and businesses to respond to change by providing tools which help them to continuously innovate and refresh.

SparkSessions

Successful innovation rarely happens by accident. It requires a clear process, with focused inputs and stimulation along the way.

Harnessing the talents of the right blend of people is essential too - from specialists across client organisations, to their creative agencies and the general public.

Bespoke SparkSessions are central to our approach and have helped a wide range of brands innovate, from confectioners and credit cards to TV and technology companies.

Insight

We are not a consultancy that sits around on beanbags plucking strategies out of thin air. The consumer is our start point, and the majority of our projects involve at least one phase of primary research.

All of our consultants are fully trained qualitative researchers with experience of all methodologies from one-on-one ethnographic studies to large scale deliberative events. They are also trained in quantitative questionnaire design and analysis.

Consumer Access and Co-creation

Traditionally the business and creative communities have viewed consumers with a mixture of fear and disdain. But times are changing.

Today, forward-thinking organisations are placing the consumer at the heart of their operations. We are experts at helping do this, from simply bringing consumers and employees together to designing sophisticated, bespoke processes of co-creation.

BrightSparks Panels

Our BrightSparks Panels keep in touch with respondents (via email/secure websites) as a project unfolds, enabling us to delve deep into their lives. This ongoing correspondence also allows us to involve the consumer in every stage of our thinking.

Throughout, the successful dissemination of information is critical, and has ranged from written summaries to websites where participants' thoughts, photo and videos can be viewed first hand.

Sparkler Studio

Having excellent insights and ideas is one thing, communicating them is another. Too often the best thinking never sees the light of day because it has been embedded within 100 charts of powerpoint.

Our full time Designers and a network of creatives ensure that our work looks beautiful and lives on once the project is a distant memory. To this end, we have designed and produced films, books, booklets, posters and websites.
